2784 Smithsonite, Azurite, Malachite, Sphalerite, Cerussite, Block 14 Open Cut, South Mine, Broken Hill, New South Wales

This is the first time I have seen this colour on a Broken Hill specimen! Spectacular under shortwave ultraviolet light. The smithsonite glows yellow under longwave, pink under medium wave and violet red under shortwave. Sphalerite is visible orange under shortwave and brighter under medium wave. It also appears to be encased in quartz. Cerussite(?) appears bluish grey under shortwave. Width of view in the photos is 17.25mm.
