Pale adamite crystal aggregates with deeper green cores of copper-bearing adamite (or zincolivenite?). Interestingly, as you move the specimen around under the microscope, the “hard dividing line” between the two colours looks like it moves!...

Type locality. Greenish yellow acicular sprays. Formerly known as kankite from this locality.
Ex Joan Lamond 3719, received in a swap with Andre Heyninck (Belgium). Tiny yellow plates in slag. Also present are sprays of white acicular crystals labelled (erroneously I think) as calcite.
Platy yellow thorikosite with globular fluorite, and white gypsum from the Lavrion District, Attikí Prefecture, Greece. Exact locality unknown.
