Vintage micro. This specimen was part of the collection of micromount Hall of Famer (ind. 1997) Bill Henderson. According to Henderson’s label, Neal Yedlin, the most renowned of all micromounters, originally placed it into circulation, passing it on to Bentley Mins, whom we might assume to be the well known collector Carl Bentley. The next to own it was Micromount Hall of Famer Richard Thomssen (ind. 1985). Jake Slagle acquired this piece at the Rochester Mineralogical Symposium in April 2013. Specimen measures 15x15x15mm and is mounted with mineral tack in a two piece (black bottom, clear top) two part micromount display case.
