Several dozen of these little nuggets, at least, mounted on a square of stiff yellow paper glued to the top of a cork pedestal in a two piece black plastic micromount display case. From the collection of the late Charles E. Bosworth, whose label states that these nuggets were collected in 1840 from the Tura River in Russia’s Ural Mountains. This should read Tuba not Tura. The Tuba is a river in Krasnoyarsk Krai in Siberia in Russia. It is formed by the confluence of Kazyr and Amyl and is a right tributary of the Yenisei River. A note from Jake Slagle says that many of Charles’ labels have to be checked for spelling errors.
