ncat JP373 Fluorite, Pyromorphite, Siderite, Daydream Mine (Meech’s Blow), Yancowinna Co., New South Wales

Colourless cubes with a white core of fluorite crystals that glow green under shortwave ultraviolet light. Judging by the colour, it is likely that the fluorescence is due to uranyl ions. A small amount of green pyromorphite, and brown oxidised siderite also present. Ex Jo Price Collection. Width of view 11.5mm.
