Lustrous white translucent barite crystals growing on minor calcite from one of the classic old English lead mines. The barite crystals on this piece reach 1.5 cm in maximum length and fluoresce a nice cream-white under UV light. The piece is also phosphorescent, continuing to glow for several seconds after the UV light is turned off. This piece comes from a very old mine that you will rarely see specimens available from. This old time classic piece measures 6.2 x 4.0 x 3.0 cm in size, weighs 84 grams
