Lovely little thumbnail (in micro box) of a group of zoned golden mimetite crystals. Ex American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) Collection number 45287. Ex Eugene Carmichael Collection. AMNH received it as a gift from Pierre Bastien in 1978, however, it was one of a number of specimens (pers comm Jamie Newman, AMNH). There is some orange fluorescence in places that appears to be sphalerite. Width 18.5mm. Stack of 200 images.
