A fairly rough-looking white andesine crystal is perched on the end of a prismatic dark brown, almost black augite crystal. But wait there’s more. The top third of the augite crystal is coated by a thin blob of colourless hyalite opal. This hyalite also coats a number of small triangular crystals of ilmenite. Width of view 3.5mm.
