1846 Calcite, Colebrook Hill, Rosebery, Tasmania

Normally, the only calcite that you find at this locality is stuff that needs to be removed with acid to expose the crystals of other species. This is the only piece that I collected that looks like this, sharp pale yellow crystals of calcite. Look closely, and you can see a tiny chalcopyrite crystal. Width of view 5mm. Stack of 45 images.
