ncat EA6 Magnesite, Fluorite, Slaughteryard face, Mount Bischoff Mine, Waratah, Waratah district, Waratah-Wynyard municipality, Tasmania

Given the name “Lost City of Bischoff” when I first found it, this is one side of a ferroan magnesite crystal that had grown up against stepped fluorite that is no longer there. The core of this specimen is a fairly thick seam of fluorite that fluoresces strongly.
